The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted at the UN Sustainable Development Summit in late September 2015. It includes a set of global sustainable development goals that replaced the millennium development goals in 2016. On 20 June 2017 the Council adopted conclusions setting out the EU's response to the 2030 Agenda and its approach on how to implement it at EU level. |
