EU sees evacuating Libyans by sea as an option

EurActiv reports on the Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response European Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva declaration from 17 March 2011, before the UN Security Council meeting. According to Georgieva, the EU stands ready to help Libyans seeking refuge in Egypt and Tunisia and that it could consider evacuation by sea.
