EU threatens more Russia sanctions, prepares to sign Ukraine pact

On 23 June 2014, the Council of the European Union at the Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg, adopted conclusions on Ukraine.

The EU countries threatened to impose more sanctions on Russia if it did not help to stop violence in the run-up to the Ukraine treaty signature on the 27 June 2014.
