EU to open office in Libyan rebel stronghold

EUObserver reports that EU foreign relations chief Catherine Ashton said in May 2011 that she would open a diplomatic mission in Benghazi, the stronghold of the Transitional National Council (TNC), a parallel government formed by anti-Gaddafi rebels in Libya.
