EU welcomes progress on international climate action at Warsaw conference / Last-minute deal at UN climate talks

UN climate talks in Poland ended on the 22 November 2013 with delegates reaching a compromise on how to fight global warming. After many days of difficult negotiations, the delegates approved a pathway to a new global climate treaty in Paris in 2015.

The European Union welcomed the outcome of the United Nations climate conference in Warsaw as a step forward in the international fight against climate change.
