Extraordinary Eurogroup meeting on Greece on Feb. 11

Preview and reports of an extraordinary meeting of Eurozone Finance Ministers within the Eurogroup on the 11 February 2015 to discuss the Greek debt crisis.

The challenge of agreeing a way forward with the new government of Greece was highlighted by a difficult meeting between the Finance Ministers of Greece and Germany, Yanis Varoufakis and Wolfgang Schäuble, on the 5 February 2015. While Germany pledged to help Greece out of its financial problems, the two ministers agreed to disagree on the detail of a way forward.
