Fair Taxation: Commission launches work to create first common EU list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions

On the 15 September 2016, the European Commission launched work to draw up a first common European Union’s list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions by presenting a pre-assessment ('scoreboard of indicators') of all third countries. Thanks to that the Member States of the European Union can choose which third country should be screened over the next months in order to identify those that refuse to comply with international tax good governance standards. The definitive list of non-cooperative jurisdictions should be published by the end of 2017.
