High Representative/Vice President Federica Mogherini met on the 6 December 2016 with the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. They discussed a range of topics related to EU-Turkey relations, internal developments in Turkey as well as regional issues, including Syria and the Cyprus settlement talks. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to continue their political dialogue and engagement in areas of common interest and challenges. |
