Finns promise tough love for the eurozone

Report of a FT interview with the Governor of the Central Bank in Finland Erkki Liikanen (a former Finnish finance minister and European Commissioner), May 2011.

He said that Finland would remain a 'constructive member' of the eurozone despite the rise of its eurosceptic True Finns party following the 2011 general election, but would lobby hard in the future for economic discipline across Europe’s 17-country monetary union.
