France’s €30 billion VAT gap revealed

EurActiv reported that an assessment for the European Commission carried out by an external consulting firm has exposed a massive €30 billion gap in France's annual VAT revenues, a much bigger hole than official figures show.

On the 25 September 2013, EurActiv reported that this gap might be explained by the use of different data sources.
