French-inspired ‘Google tax’ to be debated at EU level

MEPs from the ruling French Socialist Party urged the European Commission to act on a European level to deal with the tax avoidance of the internet giants like Google and Amazon. The Google tax is inspired by the Tobin tax on financial transactions.
