A meeting of the General Affairs Council was held on 12 December 2017. The agenda includes the following topics:
+ Conclusion of the preparations for the European Council held on 14-15 December by examining draft conclusions;
+ Information on the implementation of the conclusions of the previous European Council summit;
+ Adoption of a joint declaration of the three institutions on the EU's legislative priorities until the end of the legislative term;
+ Presentation of the Annual Growth Survey, which launched the 2018 European Semester.
