Germany dismisses Iran’s nuclear offer

Western powers responded with scepticism on 6 February 2010 to a claim by Iran at the Munich Security Conference that a deal to swap enriched uranium for nuclear fuel could now be close. The US and European Union said they were unconvinced and Iran must make a meaningful offer or face new sanctions.
