Hollande and Putin to discuss Mistral deal

According to several media reports, France was set to further discuss with Russia the delivery of Mistral helicopter carriers in April 2015, following a previous suspension in 2014 amid tightening international sanctions against Russia over its role in the Ukraine crisis.

In May 2015, media sources reported on a senior Russian military official stating the Mistral deal was dead. Russian deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin later rejected those claims.
