	In an interview on the 4 August 2014 the French President Francois Hollande stated that the European Central Bank and Germany must do more to boost growth and fight a 'real deflationary risk' in Europe. EUObserver reported on the 5 August 2014 that French President Francois Hollande said Germany should do more to support growth as France struggles to bring its budget deficit to within the EU threshold.
