IMF announces multi-billion finance program for Ukraine

The IMF managing director Christine Lagarde announced on the 11 March 2015 a multi-billion dollar finance programme for Ukraine. She praised the country's 'fiscal discipline'.

The new four-year extended arrangement would support immediate economic stabilisation in Ukraine and a set of deep and wide-ranging policy reforms aimed at restoring robust growth over the medium term and improving living standards for the Ukrainian people.
