Investment Plan for Europe: evaluations give evidence to support its reinforcement

On 29 November 2016, the European Commission underpin findings of three assesments, in line with its proposal to reinforce and expand the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), the core of the Investment Plan for Europe.

The Commission also proposed initiatives to improve the financing of the real economy. Member States would, for example, benefit from clearer guidance on public accounting rules, particularly in the area of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
