Is the European Commission about to get tough on red tape?

In this blog Open Europe previews an expected European Commission initiative on the 28 April 2015 (later delayed until 19 May 2015), led by Frans Timmermans, the European Commissioner for better regulation, to launch a 'master plan to cut red tape'.
