Joint Statement regarding an intergovernmental approach to improving international tax compliance and implementing FATCA

A joint statement setting out an agreed approach to the United States 'FATCA' legislation, which aims to combat cross-border tax evasion, was issued on 8 February 2012 by the Governments of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
