European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker answered to media questions after the end of the first meeting of the College of Commissioners under his Presidency on the 5 November 2014, in what appeared to be a change in terms of EC communication strategy.

Speaking to the journalists, Mr Juncker announced that he would not leave any unfair criticism coming from EU capitals without a reply, following recent tensions between the Commission and the Italian government.
