The European Commission published on 18 May 2018 the results of the 2018 edition of the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI).

Further information:

According to this Index, the European Union continued to improve its digital performance and the gap between the most and the least digital countries slightly narrowed. However, progress remained insufficient for the EU to catch up with global leader and to reduce differences across Member States.
