Lukashenko wins in Belarus, opposition enraged

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko won a fifth term in office in the Presidential Election held on the 11 October 2015, with a reported 83.49% of the vote. 86% of the eligible electorate voted.

Dozens of opposition supporters held a protest march in the capital Minsk after the polls closed.
