Memo: Meeting with leader of the Macedonian opposition Zoran Zaev

Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle met with President of the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia Zoran Zaev in Brussels on 7 January 2014. It was the first official meeting between the Commissioner and the leader of the main opposition party in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. They discussed the accession process and Commissioner Füle reaffirmed the EU perspective of the country.
