Memo: Statement on the 2013 Aid Transparency Index

The European Commission welcomed on 24 October 2013 a report on Aid Transparency Index from Publish What You Fund. According to the report, the European Commission is managing taxpayers' money in foreign policy, notably conflict prevention and crisis response, humanitarian assistance, pre-accession assistance and international development, in a transparent manner. However, the report also shows that the EU as a whole still has progress to make.
