Memo: The EU’s economic governance explained

The memo reviews the essential features of the reforms of the EU's economic governance rules which were introduced as a response to the economic, financial and sovereign debt crises. It gives an overview of the surveillance systems that had been strengthened for budgetary and economic policies and the new budgetary timeline for the euro area that had been introduced.
