Meridiana fights ‘unfair advantage’

Meridiana, an airline with 16% of the domestic Italian market, filed a complaint to the European Commission, November 2008, accusing Alitalia and Cai, an Italian takeover consortium, of receiving unfair state aid from the Italian government.
