Merkel warns of hurdles in EMF plan

Reports of reactions to plans for a European version of the International Monetary Fund to bail out crisis-hit countries. The plan was initially articulated in a CEPS Policy Brief in February 2010 and taken up by the German Finance minister and others in early March 2010 as a reaction to the economic crisis in Greece.
