New refugee proposals: Send them back

The Danish parliament discussed on the 8 October 2014 proposals by Social Democratic Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt to toughen the policies on asylum and the right to family reunification.

Two opposition parties seriously ratcheted up the rhetoric in the ongoing debate about Denmark’s responsibility to take in refugees by suggesting that refugees should not be allowed to stay in Denmark.
