Poland’s defence minister Bogdan Klich resigned on the 29 July 2011 after an official investigation into the plane crash which killed the Polish President and all 95 others on board in Russia in April 2010 concluded that mistakes by the military pilots were the primary cause of the disaster. The report also said that errors made by Russian officials contributed to the crash.
