Press Release: Drones: guidelines for rules on commercial and recreational use and safety

The European Parliament approved in plenary on 29 October 2015 a resolution regarding the civilian use of drones.

MEPs considered that, as commercial services using drones took off and their recreational use became ever more popular, it should be ensured that they pose no threat to public safety or personal privacy.
