The president of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi, discussed on 12 November 2015 with the European Parliament's economic and monetary affairs committee the economic situation in the Eurozone.

The 'monetary dialogue' held regularly between the two sides focused this time on the Eurozone's economic outlook and the ECB's role in the macro-economic adjustment programmes. Mr Draghi stated the EU economy was showing resilience in the face of external circumstances, but highlights that the ECB's inflation forecast in March 2015 had been too positive.
