Press Release: Employment: Commission welcomes Council adoption of Posting of Workers Enforcement Directive

The European Commission welcomed on 14 May 2015 the definitive adoption by the Council of the European Union of new measures to better enforce rules on the posting of workers.

The new Posting of Workers Enforcement Directive safeguards respect for posted workers' rights in practice and strengthen the legal framework for service providers. It is up for implementation in national legislations two years and twenty days after its publication in the EU Official Journal.
