Press Release: EU PNR: lead MEP optimistic on prospects of a deal meeting Parliament’s concerns

The European Parliament's civil liberties committee was briefed on 1 December 2015 regarding the trilogue negotiations between the chamber, the European Commission and the Council of the European Union on the EU Passegener Name Record (PNR) proposal.

The leading negotiator listed the key issues in the ongoing negotiations and showed his optimism that an agreement addressing the EP's concerns could be struck by the end of 2015.
