Press Release: Federica Mogherini spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Palestinian President Abbas

Media sources reported in October 2015 on an escalation of the violence between Israelis and Palestinians which could turn into a third Intifada.

Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, held phone conversations on 11 October with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to discuss the situation on the ground in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
