Press Release: Joint press release following the endorsement of the updated Association Agenda by the EU-Ukraine Association Council

The European Union-Ukraine Association Council endorsed on 16 March 2015 the updated Association Agenda, which is instrumental in guiding the process of enhanced reforms and economic modernisation in Ukraine.

Being agreed between the Ukrainian Government and the EU and its Member States, this document constitutes the main political tool for the implementation and monitoring of the Association Agreement.

This agreement also established the existence on annual summits between the two sides. Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko announced later in March 2015 that the first one would take place in Kyiv, on 27 April 2015.
