Press Release: MEPs quiz Commission’s chief negotiator on progress ahead of UK referendum

The European Parliament's constitutional affairs held a meeting on 14 January 2016 with Jonathan Faull, head of the European Commission's task force for strategic issues related to the UK referendum.

Members of the committee wanted to know whether changes to the treaties were needed to meet UK demands, whether the four EU freedoms would be safeguarded and the potential for reform requests from other countries.
