Press Release: Mergers: Commission clears acquisition of the S‑PVC business of Tessenderlo by Ineos

The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of the Suspension Polyvinyl Chloride ("S-PVC") business of the Belgium-based Tessenderlo Group by the Swiss-based company Ineos. S-PVC is a resin used in pipes, window profiles and other industrial applications. The Commission concluded that the proposed transaction would not significantly modify the structure of the affected markets.
