President-elect Jean-Claude Juncker sent on the 14 October 2014 an update to the list of Commissioners-designate to Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in his capacity as President of the Council of the European Union, thereby signalling his agreement on the new Slovenian candidate.

This followed the interview President-elect Juncker held on the 14 October 2014 with Violeta Bulc, Slovenian candidate for Commissioner.
