Press Release: Progress following Western Balkans Route Leaders’ Meeting: Eleventh Contact Points Video Conference

An eleventh video conference was held on 8 January 2016 between the contact points nominated after the Western Balkans Route Leaders' Meeting had held on 25 October. The objective was to follow up on the agreement reached at the meeting and set out in the Leaders' Statement.

The Statements concerned such issues as border management, support and shelter to refugees, registration of arrivals and return and readmission, tackling smuggling and trafficking.
