Serbia: Parliamentary Election, 11 May 2008: Serbian president dissolves parliament

Serbia’s President, Boris Tadic, dissolved parliament on the 13 March 2008 and called elections for 11 May 2008 to try to overcome divisions in his party about relations with the European Union after Kosovo’s secession.
