Statement by the Spokesperson on the 25th Independence Day of Ukraine

On the 24 August 2016, the European Union issued a statement on the occasion of 25th Independence Day of Ukraine. The European Union wishes to maintain an ever closer partnership and also remains unwavering in its support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty and continues its firm policy of non-recognition of the illegal annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation.
