Statement by the Spokesperson on the bomb attack in Adana

On the 24 November 2016, at least two people were killed and 21 more wounded in a car bomb attack outside a local government building in the southern Turkish city of Adana.

In a later attack one soldier was also killed and at least five more people were wounded due to the explosion of a bomb in the south eastern Turkish province of Şirnak.

After this event, the European Union reiterated their continuing solidarity to Turkey, its government and its people.
