Statement by the Spokesperson on the explosion in Diyarbakir, Turkey

On 4 November 2016 an explosion took place in Diyarbakir, in Turkey, leaving eight people dead and more than a hundred injured.

The European External Action Service (EEAS) released a statement on the same day, expressing their condolences and their concern about the growing violence in the south-east of Turkey.
