Stuart Rose, ex-M&S boss, to lead campaign to keep UK in EU / Britain Stronger in Europe

On the 12 October 2015 it was announced that Lord Stuart Rose, the former Executive Chair of Marks and Spencer, had been appointed to the new Chair of Britain Stronger In Europe.

The Conservative peer, now chairman of the In Campaign, said the UK was 'stronger in Europe' and to leave the EU would be a 'leap into the unknown'. 'I believe the case for Britain to remain in the EU is clear. We are stronger, safer and better off inside Europe'.
