The 'Stop TTIP' petition reached the 3 million signatures mark in October 2015. Anti-TTIP activists symbolically handed the results of the petition to the European Commission on the 7 October 2015.

The petition called on the EU and its member states to stop the talks on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). It also said they should not ratify a similar deal that has already been signed between the EU and Canada.
