Trump Visits Poland

Reports of visit by US President Donald Trump to Poland on the 6 July 2017 as a prelude to his participation in the G20 Summit in Hamburg on the 7-8 July 2017.

In Poland he held a short bilateral discussion with Polish President Andrzej Duda and took part in a mini summit of leaders from 12 countries lying between the Baltic, the Adriatic and the Black Sea called the Three Seas Initiative. His remarks at the summit focused on infrastructure development and energy security, highlighting, for instance, the first shipments of American LNG into Poland earlier in July 2017.

The Polish government would try to use the US President's visit to Warsaw to influence the White House’s policies toward Russia and Germany.
