Turkey stops refugees en route to Greek islands

On the 30 November 2015, immediately following the outcome of the International Summit Meeting of the EU heads of state or government with Turkey in Brussels on the 29 November 2015, Turkish authorities carried out measures to round up over 1000 migrants who were said to be planning to sail to Greece to seek asylum.

This process was continued in the following days.
