Turkey takes step towards presidential rule

EurActiv reported that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan took a step towards extending his powers in November 2012 after his ruling AK Party presented to parliament on the 6 November 2012 a proposal to set up a presidential system.
