Tymoshenko detention strains EU-Ukraine relations

EUObserver reported that EU officials condemned the detention of Ukraine's former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko in Aigust 2011 - a move set to complicate EU-Ukrainian relations ahead of a key summit in December 2011.
