UK election campaign launched today, parliament dissolved

The electoral caimpaign leading to the General Election in the United Kingdom started on 30 March 2015, following the dissolution of the parliament by Queen Elizabeth II.

The balance of power within the United Kingdom, immigration, the National Health Service (NHS) and the UK's relationship with the European Union were seen by analysts as hot topics for the forthcoming weeks.
